The Day is Mine!!
Victory!!! Well, at least I think it's a victory. We went to pick up our photos at Sears today. Ever so graciously, they included 4 "lab bonus" prints. All four sheets, including a 10x13, were $20. Not a bad deal since each sheet is like $7. When we originally were looking to purchasing a package you could only get the CD with all right rights to the images for $30 after spending $100. I don't have that much money to spend on my little love-bumpkin every time we get photos taken. I mentioned "So, if I purchase these 'bonus' prints, will that count towards the $100 to get the CD?" There were some ladies there that were training another manager or something and one said, "You can buy the bonus prints and the CD for $40 without the $100 requirement." And so I handed over the plastic. Yes, I spent ALOT more than I originally had planned. We're kinda unfortunate because the only places that do photography around here are Sears and Wal-mart (yuck) unless you want to get REAL professional. So I can't get the fabulous deals at JCPennys unless we go to Memphis. It's hard enough to plan a trip into town to get photos done! So, we'll not spend the gas money and spend more on photos. the point is that I REALLY wanted the CD but didn't want to spend $130. I claim a victory in that we didn't spend $130 and I still got the CD. Now I can edit and create fun designs and reprint them all I want. Go me!!!

Go ahead, enlarge that sucker!!! Save him! They are no longer good only as small images! I got it zoomed all the way up to 400% with no pixelation! It's great.... I hope to get these on photobucket pretty soon.

Wow, that was alot of rambling. In other news....Carl got all our used boxes to the recyling place today. Now we can fit TWO cars in our TWO car garage! Imagine that! We're "fixin' ta" get a truck load the shtuff from Lowes or Home Depot to organize the garage and get rid of the majority of the remaining boxes. Bradys room is mostly complete now that we have a cheepo-riffic dresser. Bit by bit the house is coming together.

Sad face
I was sitting with Brady today and having a very emotional heart to heart conversation. Tears were rolling down my cheeks. The real sad part is as I was making scrunched up sad faces, he started to do the same. He has learned how to break a momma's heart with his sad, scrunchy frown.

Three Months Old!!
So, okay this page may be turning into a Brady Shrine. But who can blame us with such a cute baby?? These pictures are of Brady in his blessing outfit, made by Grandma Julie (Steph's mom) and also the quilt is made by Grandma Charlene (Carl's mom). At three months he weighs 13 pounds 10 ounces and is 22 and 1/2 inches long. That's a weight gain of an ounce a day and consistant growth of 3/4 inch per month.
The photos are "raw images" so they aren't perfect. You can see my knee in one or two of them. I do plan on editing some of them and playing around once I get some good software and, more importantly, time.
Please enjoy the feature presentation.

Tour De Casa
The much anticipated, great with sweat equity photo tour of our home. Come back soon as we hope to add some nice virtual tour music*.
*Sorry to disappoint, but I am not able to load the desired track to go with the tour. Just sing the Tetris theme in "do"s in your head while you watch, thank you.

Deprived Part Deux: Not so deprived
We have the internet at home now, YEA!!! Mostly everything is unpacked and all the beloved guests have gone home. : ( What does that mean now?? Well, I get to focus on filing away the mountain of papers into the orange crate (our very sophisicated filing system), finish getting pictures up on walls, get Bradys room in order and THEN work on the blog.
He has changed a bunch. For one, he doesn't look like a little newborn anymore. His head is getting bigger and his hair is thinning out. He's so precious....okay just a couple of pictures now but I can't go too overboard as there are many things calling my name to put them away.
Here is Brady showing a little bit of his smiley personality.
He loves getting his diaper changed. Until this morning we had gone weeks since springing a leak mid-change.
This is Brady at his first birthday party!! He went to Chuck E. Cheese to celebrate his cousin Sadies fourth birthday. He had lots of fun!
On a side note, Carl just found out that he passed his classes from Spring Semester. Two Bs, and I'll take it!! We didn't move out here for nothing! To quote Carl, "All things considered, Bs never looked better in my life." He will take the summer off for a few reasons then go back in the fall with probably three classes. I will enjoy my husband while I have him again.
Here I am trying to figure out what plugs into where so we can enjoy the wonderful commodity of Television.

P.S. Melanie- I believe you owe me $10 ; )
