Gutters and Garages

*To the tune of "The Ants Go Marching"* The house is coming along, along, hurrah, hurrah. The house is coming along, along HURRAH HURRAH! The house has come along this June, as we work hard, the Behunins two. And it all we be done soon, we hope soon.
Last Saturday we we cleaned and organized a good portion of the garage. It had actually been a work in progress. For two weeks, we went through boxes and boxes of "personal effects" and stored what passed the sentimental test into storage bins. Twelve and a half bins later, we were able to put them in the attic and clear space for storage shelves and a storage cabinet. We can now park 2 cars in the two-car garage. We still have a wall of boxes that need sorting and a home either in the house, garage, or garbage.

Today we got gutters installed. Now we can plant things around the house without worrying about them getting washed out. It's all coming along so nicely. The list of "to-dos" is getting shorter as the bank account is getting smaller. Very bittersweet it is.

This weekend we hope to get the remaining side of the fence up, weather permitting. Once again, the Elders of the Branch will be assisting us. This time we are going to use a string to make sure the fence is straight. Although that crooked fence in Sande made for some fond memories and good laughs. May the force be with us as we go into the next project....
